Zachary Zatara

Age: Teenaged! Estimated to be 16-17.
Height: 5'7"ish? idek Superman makes cracks about his height and he's about Zatanna's height.
Weight: Unknown. Whatever would be normal given what he looks like in his icons.
Medical Info: Zachary isn't entirely human, but instead a parallel species: homo magi. He is functionally human for all intents and purposes, he can breed with humans and all that, he just has an innate talent for magic. So there's that. His medical records would mention that he got a whole bunch of internal injuries after being thrown at a building at high speed and spent a lot of time in hospital recovering.
Eyes: Green, apparently. It tends to vary.
Hair: Black.
Physical traits: Good looking boy who knows it, pretty much dresses like he's from the 1920s unless he's in civvies and that's very rare.

What's Okay To Mention Around Him/Her: Zachary's taken from just before Flashpoint, so honestly you could mention anything and he would either a) not know about it or b) not actually care. If you want to talk about all his dead friends and family, sure, but I don't even know why anyone would want to.

Abilities: Zachary is both a stage magician and a magic user in his own right. His magic works off the trigger of his describing what he wants to do backwards: ti skool ekil siht. You'll notice that it's not truly backwards, he's just reversing the letters while keeping the words in the same order. Zachary is quite adept at manipulating non-living things, very much not as adept at manipulating living things, can do basic divination, has some kind of psychic sense, and has only recently learned how to teleport. His magic operates by the fact that Zachary is a person that the universe listens to, and speaking backwards puts him into the right mindframe to be able to manipulate things.  He's a lot like Zatanna, he just doesn't have her training.  This means that Zachary must be able to speak in order to cast magic and he's not far enough in his training to try writing backwards in his own blood. 

Notes for the Psychics/Magically or Spiritually sensitive: Let's bullet point this, yes.

• His mind is an open book. He has no shields, no concepts of shields and the only thing keeping him from being utterly transparent is his own emotional immaturity and facade.
• He's being watched by these three demons who basically want his soul as part of their plan to escape out of hell. 
• Zachary's magic is obscenely powerful and a danger to himself and others and has only just recently decided that he needs any training in it at all.  I should note he's had it for a year.  This goes a long way towards explaining why he gets kidnapped all the time.
• Dig past the attitude (which could be hard, admittedly) and you'll find someone who is acutely aware of how alone he is and how much that sucks, and that he is directly responsible for causing someone to lose their soul.
• He got mindfucked by a god once too, which also sucked.  As well as brainwashed by the Dark Side Club. And a magic user. And a yuki-onna ... you get the idea. His mind is kind of a mess.
• If you feel the need to kidnap him, go ahead.
• He is very protective of family and friends once they are considered family and friends to him.

Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: UM YES. This is what Zachary is for. He gets kidnapped by pretty much everyone who wants a magical toy.
Hugging/kissing/other non-violent physical contact: Ladies. In other words, yes, by all means.
Maim/Murder/Death: I'd prefer to talk to people when this comes up and plan out how because he has cast and all that. TINY COUSIN.
Cooking: I'm sure he will say that he has staff for that.
Other: Zachary is from before the reboot so ... if anyone comes from post-reboot he will have no idea what's going on!
